Malik Pickett
Malik Pickett, a remarkable wrestling talent, leads our wrestling program with a career distinguished by dedication and success at the state level. As a high school standout, Malik not only achieved personal excellence but also inspired his teammates as team captain, guiding them with his leadership and passion for the sport.
Specializing in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, Malik has proudly represented Texas on the national stage. His record of 179 takedowns at Seven Lakes High School highlights his technical prowess and dominance on the mat, making him a formidable force in the wrestling community.
Under Malik’s expert guidance, athletes at Labyrinth Elite Wrestling Club are poised for a journey of growth and achievement. His commitment to excellence and his ability to inspire young wrestlers create an environment where athletes can thrive and reach their full potential.

Coach
Anthony Curry
Anthony Curry is a dedicated coach at Labyrinth Elite Wrestling Club and a distinguished Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. With over a decade of experience in martial arts, Anthony has excelled in numerous gi and no-gi tournaments across the United States, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.
In addition to his role in wrestling, Anthony is the head coach of Labyrinth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu HQ, where he leads with a passion for developing athletes and fostering a supportive training environment. His collaboration with James Kelly, the former head wrestling coach of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club at the University of Iowa, has further refined Anthony's coaching skills and deepened his understanding of wrestling techniques and strategies.
Anthony's teaching career includes roles as the head coach of the University of Iowa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club and as an instructor at Citadel BJJ in Iowa City. These positions have enhanced his ability to guide athletes through transformative learning experiences that build confidence, discipline, and resilience both on and off the mat.
